about the labyrinth pattern

The labyrinth, an ancient universal archetypal symbol, describes not only the path to wholeness, but identifies life as a spiritual journey that invites one to find deeper meaning in life. A labyrinth is a sanctuary: a safe and sacred place in which we can reconnect with ourselves. Walking a labyrinth is a way to find inner peace, to live more consciously, to connect with nature, to help heal grief or trauma, to solve problems or to set goals. Like Augustine said: It is solved by walking.

The bag comes with a tag attached that has a short description of each of the words: ubuntu, satyagraha, shalom salam, lagom, abrazo, gezellig, dadirri and himdag.

Why reusable bags?

The average American uses about 900 grocery bags per year. Less than 1% are recycled.
In the US, about 12 million barrels of oil and 14 million trees go to producing plastic and paper bags each year.
Reusing makes cents. Some grocery stores offer a 5-penny discount if you bring your own.
Plastic bags don’t biodegrade, they photodegrade—breaking down into small bits that foraging animals and sea creatures like sea turtles and whales ingest.
